Branch Operations Manager (OG-II / OG-I)
The selected Branch Operations Manager will report to the Regional Executive – Operations. The employee will be responsible for managing the daily operational activities of the branch and ensuring that all work is completed correctly and on time.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
The Branch Operations Manager will supervise all branch operations and ensure that proper internal controls are followed. The selected employee will support the Branch Manager in achieving business targets and preparing or monitoring the branch’s annual budget.
The manager will make sure that banking laws, State Bank of Pakistan regulations, internal instructions, standard operating procedures, and Shariah requirements are followed. This includes compliance with KYC and anti-money laundering rules.
The employee will supervise account opening, inter-branch transactions, daily vouchers, customer records, reconciliations, general ledger matters, periodic reports, and statements required by management or regulatory authorities.
The manager will also oversee operational and administrative staff. Other responsibilities include managing customer complaints, monitoring service standards, supervising cash in the branch vault, checking daily cash receipts and payments, and ensuring that the branch opens and closes at the required time.
The role also covers remittance matters, utility bill collection, lockers, branch security, CCTV cameras, alarm systems, customer documents, collateral records, computer systems, ATM operations, audit observations, and branch files.
Pending AML alerts, high-risk KYC cases, unreconciled entries, and data-cleaning issues must be handled without unnecessary delay. The selected person will also be expected to maintain professional discipline, customer service, and proper upkeep of the branch premises.
